Tickets/Donations are fully tax-deductible and can be made in any amount over $20. *The Event is 21+, cash bar.

About GIA:
The Vermont Governor’s Institute on the Arts (GIA) is a 2-week summer arts enrichment intensive for Vermont high school students currently in grades 9 through 11. For over 30 years, students from around the state have gathered to create a unique learning community while taking classes with professional teaching artists in the fields of dance, theater, writing, music, and visual arts. GIA is not specifically a gifted and talented program, but exists to offer students with all kinds of interests the opportunity to try something new, embrace different perspectives and make connections with peers across the state.

GIA is creating a network of creative thinkers and artists, and needs your help to fund the experience with more faculty, supplies, and workshops to broaden our reach. 96% of GIA alums say the experience was an important one for them during their high school years; one writes: “Being a part of GIA has helped to shape me and give me a sense of direction and control of my own life.” Join us as we celebrate 30 years of helping Vermont’s young people embrace their potential.
