Larry Ham is a fabulous pianist. He’s played with Lionel Hampton, Illinois Jacquet, Junior Cook, Dakota Staton, and for Presidents Reagon and Clinton. We were lucky enough to cross paths doing our masters degrees in jazz at Queens College, and I’m thrilled that he’ll be joining me on Monday October 18 at Banjo Jim’s! We play promptly at 9pm, and the lineup for the whole night is outstanding. Be sure to stay late for J. Walter Hawkes… the other trombone-playing, ukulele-playing, troubador in town!
